Course Information

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to interpret diagrams and symbols used in the railway environment and understand their relationship to signalling equipment. This course is designed to increase the knowledge and understanding of the learners with regards to reading and understanding signalling circuitry.

Pre-requisites

Delegates should already have some knowledge of signalling systems i.e. attended an introductory signalling training course.

Delegates will learn and understand about:

• Simple circuits 
• Nomenclature 
• More advanced circuits 
• Symbols 
• Polar Circuits

Assessment

Delegates will be assessed by taking a written theory test combined with a practical test and observation. Upon successfully completing the course, delegates will be issued a certificate of competence.
