Course Information
This course covers the techniques and processes required when completing installation work.
This course is designed to train persons required to assemble signalling systems, sub system component parts and install and terminate wires and cables.
The course will look at good and bad techniques that are used. A practical is spread over 2–3 Days of wiring up a location case.
Pre-requisites
Before attending this course, delegates should have successfully completed Signal Engineering Maintenance 1 (SEM 1) or equivalent.
Course Outcomes
This course will develop the delegates’ understanding of assembling signalling systems, sub system component parts and installing and terminating wires and cables.
Assessment
Delegates will be assessed by taking a written theory test, and undergoing a practical test observed by their assessor. Successful delegates will be issued with a certificate of competency.
