We are Paul and Pam Martin and we set up PM Training and Assessing in 2005 to provide assessor training to those in railway signalling.
We have expanded and we now provide all the Trainer, Assessor and IQA (TAQA) qualifications, as well as Professional Development Courses.
In 2009 we set up our IRSE Assessing Agency. We have completed over 2,000 IRSE assessments and have over 100 assessors across the UK.
In 2018, following the collapse of Carillion, Paul joined the business full time and we are now expanding into Signalling Training and Apprenticeships.

Need an IRSE Licence? We provide assessments for all IRSE categories. We can provide assessments for individuals who are arranging it themselves and we can also provide assessments for companies who have groups of candidates.

We, in partnership with EducationWise Academy, provide training for railway engineering apprenticeships. We can deliver level 2, 3 and 4 apprenticeship schemes and are working on setting up delivery of a level 5 apprenticeship.
We have a tailored and unique apprenticeship scheme, purpose built to include traditional railway courses such as BS1 as well as master classes hosted by professionals in the rail industry. For many businesses, our apprenticeship scheme can come at zero cost thanks to government funding.
