Basic Fault Finding

This course is designed to build foundational skills in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for signalling systems, as well as following procedures for responding to signalling failures.

G110 Author/Checker

This course is designed to train delegates who are responsible for undertaking the role of G110 Test Schedule Author or Checker as defined in Network Rail standards.

G110 Tester/Lead Tester

This course is designed for signal engineers who are already competent as SMTH testers, including those with SFI Level 1, or have equivalent experience in Signal Works Testing or Works delivery. The course will prepare them to take on the role of G110 Tester or Lead Tester as defined by Network Rail standards.

SFI Level 1

This course is for delegates who are responsible for fault finding, repairing and testing of Signal Engineering equipment as part of their duties on Network Rail Infrastructure. The course gives delegates the knowledge of procedures to take place when signalling failure occurs as well as techniques to verify symptoms as well as escalation procedures.

SMTH Initial

This course is designed to train persons who are responsible for undertaking this course as part of their duties as a Signal Maintenance Tester on Network Rail Infrastructure. It is designed to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills of carrying out Signal Maintenance Testing in accordance with the Signal Maintenance Testing Handbook (SMTH) and other applicable Network Rail Standards.

SMTH Recertification

We are able to provide recertification of your SMTH competency, including Core, Aspect, Cable, Points, Cable diversion and Signal Failure Investigation.
