Course Information
This course is designed for signal engineers who already have experience as Works Test Assistants and are looking to advance to the role of Works Technical Verifier. Participants should be well-prepared by having completed the Module 5 Testing Assistant certification and possessing a solid understanding of wiring diagrams, along with proficiency in using electrical measurement tools.
This course has been designed to give delegates the underpinning knowledge matched to the IRSE Verification Tester Licence (1,3,155X). Please note that the course itself does not award the licence, and you will need to complete licensable work before going for the licence. For more info, please speak to our team.
Pre-requisites
Delegates should already hold Mod 5 competency prior to coming onto this course.
Course Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:
- Undertake Location verification tests
- Perform Cable testing
- Undertake Correlation and modifications
- Perform Panel inspection, wire count and continuity tests
- Use test equipment correctly
- Record and Document test activities
Assessment
Delegates shall be assessed by taking a written theory test, combined with a practical test observed by their assessor. Successful delegates will be awarded a certificate marking their competence.
