Course Information
This course is designed for individuals preparing to take on the role of Test Assistant. It equips them with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed for the position, ensuring they are familiar with the equipment used and understand the responsibilities expected of them.
This course has been designed such that the underpinning knowledge matches up to what is required of an IRSE Test Assistant Licence (1.3.150). Note that the licence itself requires 6 months of work experience utilising the skills you would learn on this course, and is not included with this course.
Pre-requisites
Delegates should have attended or hold competency for Signalling Engineering Maintenance 1 & 2 (SEM 1 & 2) or equivalent.

Assessment
Delegates will be assessed by a combination of a practical test and theory test. Successful delegates will be awarded a certificate demonstrating their competence.
